FVHD has provided the highest level of professional architectural services to the Pennsbury School District for the past 10+ years. During their long tenure, a comprehensive facility study of all District buildings (18) was completed and FVHD has planned and designed numerous projects that have involved all District facilities. Major projects that have been completed include an 86,000 SF $10M elementary school to relieve overcrowding in the northern end of the District, as well as additions and renovations to the Makefield Elementary School, William Penn Middle School, and the Charles Boehm Middle School. Alterations were planned and designed to the Fallsington Elementary School to return the building to a functioning elementary school, as well as serving as the District administration headquarters. The firm was also completed architect of record projects on an ongoing basis including District-wide reroofing, window and door replacement, lighting and HVAC modifications at numerous schools. Currently, a major addition to the Pennsbury High School West Campus that will include science laboratories and new administrative headquarters is in the bidding and award phase. The building program will establish a comprehensive Grades 9-12 campus. I have been working with FVHD for many years. Their leadership, responsiveness, availability and willingness to work collectively with the administration and Board of Education to address the needs of our District have been commendable. I am pleased to say that projects undertaken by FVHD are completed on time and within budget, and all members of the firm are creative and reactive to the needs of our District.
