It is with pleasure that I am writing a letter on behalf of Fraytak Veisz Hopkins Duthie, PC in their pursuit of providing professional design services. FVHD Architects-Planners has worked with the Central Bucks School District on a variety of projects over the past 20 years. Projects included to complete renovation of two late 1950’s era middle schools and transforming them with additions and renovations into 130,000 sq. ft. contemporary learning environments that will last well into the future. The additions at each school provided new office and learning spaces that added to the building’s character as well as provided needed functional space. At the elementary school level, FVHD Architects has also provided the District excellent professional services. The Linden Elementary School, originally construction in 1963 was completely renovated down to bare floors and walls and rebuilt to meet the District’s educational needs. The Pine Run Elementary School was similarly renovated with added design challenges of taking a 1970’s ‘open plan classroom’ building and adapting the spaces to incorporate current technology and teaching programs. We have been impressed by FVHD’s knowledge of the educational facilities field and their creative solutions to design issues as well as attention to details. If an/or when you move ahead with a project requiring professional design services, I would respectfully recommend that FVHD Architects be seriously considered to provide those services. Kenneth A.
