This additions and renovations project was part of the 2018 passed referendum. As of Spring 2022, the students and staff have moved into the renovated media center, culinary lab, and counseling/C.S.T. offices.
The renovated playhouse little theater and two-story science classroom addition will be turned over shortly. The final area is the one-story main entrance addition and it is well underway. This addition includes the new administration offices, a secure visitor's entrance, four academic classrooms, a dance classroom, and a Robotics/S.T.E.M. lab.
As part of West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional School District's passed referendum, the project includes the addition and renovation to West Windsor-Plainsboro High School South. The addition accommodates a new main office with a secure entrance, classrooms, science labs, robotics room, dance classroom and other spaces. Renovations/Reconfigurations occurred in the following areas: Existing life skills reconfigured as culinary sciences lab; existing media center reconfigured as learning commons including new finishes, collaboration areas, quick stop area and lounge/gathering spaces; existing robotics room to be renovated; existing main office/guidance suite reconfigured to a child study team suite and guidance services suite, which include support spaces such as conference and work rooms; and renovations to the performing arts playhouse space.
FVHD has worked with the School District for many years (since 1986), and this is one of several large scale additions and renovations FVHD has designed for this building.
