This project was featured as an "Outstanding Project" in the 2014 issue of Learning By Design.
This extensive and complicated project consisted of additions, alterations and renovations to the Performing Arts Center and Science Wing of the existing High School.
Designed to complement the existing brickwork on the original school, the addition creates a modern and eye-catching new entrance for the performing arts center. The interior features a new lobby, spill out space, ticket booth, concessions, restrooms, and a drama classroom.
Renovations to the auditorium enhance the balcony and stage, while a separate addition relocated the band room, vocal music room, practice and teacher spaces, associated storage for instruments and stage equipment completing the new performing arts center.
Other major building alterations include replacement of a large curtain wall in the science wing, extensive renovations of the science laboratories, and HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
