This single story addition and renovation of the existing library doubled the building's size, providing ample space to service the ever-growing needs of library patrons. The library expansion enabled a design which provides the user with a substantial additional shelving collection as well as a variety of comfortable, naturally lit reading areas. The design also includes space for core administration purposes. In addition to the library program spaces, the design includes a large meeting room immediately accessible from the main lobby which incorporates operable partitions to provide improved flexibility for community functions after hours of normal library operation.
