For the Love of Architecture and Education: FVHD Exhibits at Pennsbury Career Fair

On February 24, 2020, FVHD’s President, John J. Veisz, AIA, CSBA, Senior Associate, Jason Dubowitch, AIA, and Associate Stephen Schreyer, AIA, represented the firm in the field of architecture with a tabletop display at the 24th Annual Pennsbury School District Career Fair. Held at the Pennsbury High School East Campus, many students, from Elementary to High School, attended showing interest in a variety of careers, including architecture. John, Jason and Steve discussed the details of the educational requirements, training and advancement, as well as diverse career options within the profession. On display were photos of projects, samples of drawings and specifications, a model of a proposed building project, as well as take-home information for students and parents.

FVHD has been a sponsor and participant of the Pennsbury Career Fair for over 15 years. We are proud to support the School District in this important effort. It has been rewarding for us to help students understand more about the profession of architecture and give guidance to them about their focus on future educational goals. As a continuation of that effort, FVHD participates in architectural and career programs with several of our clients. A representative of the firm can participate in a short education session on architecture, interiors, sustainable design or perhaps a construction project that the district may be undertaking

If your School District is hosting a student career fair or invites professionals from the business community to talk to students and would like FVHD to participate, please contact Rachel Carver at with information for the event.
