PROJECT MANAGER/ARCHITECT
Description:

We are seeking candidates for the full-time position of PROJECT MANAGER or PROJECT ARCHITECT.  This open position comes at an exciting time of growth within our firm and includes the opportunity for advancement to an upper managerial role.  The candidate will work under the supervision of the Principals and Associates and will be involved in all phases of the design process including contract document production, client meetings and construction administration.  

Responsibilites:

Candidate will be responsible for managing the preparation of schematic design drawings, design development drawings, construction drawings, as well as contributing to the preparation of these documents in AutoCAD and/or Revit as circumstances require.  This position requires the ability to manage a multi-person internal team along with coordination of multiple external engineering consultants.  Additional responsibilities may include services related to marketing and administration.

Education/Experience/Skills:

• Authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
• Undergraduate degree in architecture is required
• 10-15 years of architectural experience is required
• Experience in moderate to large scale commercial or institutional projects is required
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and PDF programs at a minimum is required
• Excellent design and technical skills
• Self-motivated, dependable, thorough, and engaged. Takes ownership of tasks assigned.
• Good communication (written and oral), organization and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment or independently, based on the scale of a project
• K-12 Educational design experience is a plus
• Revit and other computer-generated rendering software experience is a plus
• Completion of an architectural undergraduate degree in the US is a plus
• Architectural license in New Jersey is not required but is a plus
• LEED AP certification is a plus
