|Single Overall Contract (DPMC: C009 Prime with C047 Sub)
|Renovations to the existing vestibule and main office to include installation of a new vestibule door and separate pass thru/security window in the existing vestibule on the wall to the main office. There will be a new (owner provided) Lobby Guard unit placed within the vestibule for sign in purposes, and the power and data for the unit will be provided. The glass in the new pass-thru window will be bullet resistant level 2 glazing, similar to the HS, with new speaker opening, and a very narrow slit at the bottom of the window to allow for passage of papers. This will allow the passage of identification through the new window without exposure of the secretarial staff to confirm the identification of the individuals attempting to enter the school. The existing reception counter will be reused and turned to allow better vision and access for the visitors. We will provide electric and data for three (3) desks for staff in the main office. The existing flooring (carpet and vinyl tile) will be removed and replaced with LVT flooring for the main office and down the hallway. No ceiling work or lighting, plumbing or HVAC work will be necessary for this renovation. The existing interior vestibule doors will be provided with security film, new hardware and a removable mullion for locking and latching purposes. Lastly, we will relocate the fire alarm panel to an adjacent wall away from the new seating area in the main office.
