CULTURE

FVHD recognizes that our success is a direct reflection of the skills, experience and dedication our people bring to their jobs every day. To help them do their best, we seek to provide a positive, productive work environment, based upon both mutual respect and a commitment to compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.

We believe that FVHD maintains a unique balance that combines the creativity, knowledge and the professional resources of a large firm with the personal attention and responsive services of a small practice.

Our relatively small size and unique partner-to-associate ratio gives the associates the opportunity to work directly with the partners in an informal and non-structured atmosphere that encourages hands-on training and the development of close working relationships among employees of the firm and with clients.

In view of our size and structure, our employees are all offered the opportunity to take on meaningful responsibilities very early on in their careers and thus quickly become highly valued members of small teams working directly with clients; as a result a true team spirit prevails. We prize independent thinking and creativity in our employees; our firm’s size allows us to create an engaging, high energy atmosphere in which those traits will develop and flourish. We encourage and support our staffs’ interests with continuing education and professional development.

FVHD employees have served the community by donating their time as guest speakers, mentors or career advisors for schools and other organizations throughout the region.
