Project Description:
Base Bid Work

•Temporarily remove the chain-link fence to facilitate the new work and reinstall the fencing after completion.
•Prepare indicated area, provide and install sod and associated work.  Excavation of 4" of existing soil material and installation of topsoil and thick cut sod in areas shown in the plans.  Sod maintenance shall be required as detailed on the plans and with the specifications.
•Prepare indicated area, provide and install hot-mix bituminous asphalt paving, where indicated on the drawings.
•Provide and install inlet protection methods where indicated on the drawings.
•Soil erosion measures shall be installed and maintained throughout the construction phase.

An Alternate Bid will be taken to prepare indicated area, provide and install poured-in-place rubber playground surface and associated work.
Estimated Project Cost:$35,000
Contract Document Cost:Bid Documents will be available from the Architect for $100 non-refundable fee for disk or upon deposit of $150 for each paper set, checks payable to Fraytak Veisz Hopkins Duthie. A direct shipping account number must be provided to the Architect for shipping, and for paper sets, a separate non-refundable handling fee of $25 per set payable in advance. Deposits for paper sets will be refunded only if the bid documents are returned in whole in good condition, bound in proper order, unmarked and returned within ten (10) days after the opening of bids, by a Bidder submitting a bona fide bid.
